When we met with Ivy Constructions, we were instantly moved. Their talented team thoughtfully and lovingly restores and protects heritage buildings throughout Melbourne and Victoria, and with them, our local history and treasured stories.
Some of their projects include Melbourne’s most iconic buildings: The Shine of Remembrance, Flinders Street Station, Melbourne Town Hall and Melbourne University. The team even told us a story of travelling the state to find 11 perfectly matching bricks to flawlessly match a heritage facade. That’s when we knew they were truly special people, deserving of a brand as considered as lovely as they are.
In our concept phase, we explored similar style designs to other heritage brands, such as grammar schools, universities and churches, exploring detailed crests. We decided to reserve the more detailed work for their brand assets, and keep the brand wordmark quite clean, contemporary and luxe. We were able to work hand-in-hand with the detail-minded team at Ivy to perfect the wordmark down to its finest details, resulting in a beautifully tailored logo design.
